🤖 New iPhone and Mac apps (0.8.0). The iPhone app's chat feed has been
rebuilt from the ground up: chats open instantly, already sitting at the
latest message, and scrolling through long conversations is dramatically
smoother — long-press menus, swipe-to-reply, and the little timestamp peek
all included. Tapping an invite link now opens it straight in the app. On
both apps, the first screen offers every way to sign in — Apple, Google,
Microsoft, GitHub, or a code sent to your email. The Mac app fixes message
search, no longer flashes when you switch chats, and when a chat is waiting
for its keys it now offers a way forward: link from your iPhone, or ask for
a new invite. There's also a new Performance section in Settings — an
optional diagnostics recorder you can switch on to help us chase slowness;
it stays off unless you turn it on, and never records message content.
(Mac: if you installed 0.7.3 by hand, this update should have arrived on
its own — that's the updater fix proving itself.)
